BIKE MINISTRY: Men & women with special “handy-man” gifts, talents or abilities who are willing to help with small repair and maintenance on bicycles. Building Maintenance (Volunteer): Men & women with special “handy-man” gifts, talents or abilities who are willing to help with small repair and maintenance type jobs. Bulletin Stuffers: People who work in the church office, usually on Fridays to fold & stuff inserts in the weekly bulletins used on Saturday nights and Sunday mornings. These people also serve on irregular occasions when special mail-outs require folding and stuffing. CHILDRENS MINISTRY: Teachers, Helpers, Snack Coordinators, and Chaperones. For Sunday school and Wednesday night ministries. Children's Music Leaders: Lead or assist in the preparation for various children’s musical presentations. FOCUS Group Leaders (Women's Bible Study Leaders): Women with a love for the Scriptures, who lead small group women’s Bible Studies. These groups meet monthly for both study and fellowship. Focus Group Leaders are selected by the Focus Director from the group of ladies gifted & equipped for that ministry W.O.W. Leaders: The Ladies Ministry of P.P.W.C. requires a host of leaders for everything from Craft Director to Luncheon Hosts. These are appointed by the Executive Committee, from the list of those who have indicated a willingness and an ability to serve. GREETER: The welcoming team that warmly greets everyone who is on their way to the worship service with a handshake and a smile. These people give first impressions of friendliness, acceptance, and love to members, attenders, and visitors alike. HOSTS: This ministry helps people who visit the church by taking them to a Sunday School class, introducing them to people and doing anything else to make them feel comfortable and welcome. Lawn Care, Landscape Maintenance: Men or women who are willing to trim hedges, trees, etc. and other misc. lawn care type projects either on a regular or an irregular basis. MISC HELP AROUND THE CHURCH: People to help fill the pews in the worship center with connect cards, tithe envelopes, and sharpened pencils and other misc duties. NURSERY WORKERS: People who care for infants and small children during our services and/or productions. PATIO PEOPLE: People who work at the Patio, providing opportunities for fellowship of our regular attenders and outreach to our guests. PRAYER TEAM: The team that prays for and follows up on every specific prayer request that comes through the registration cards. They coordinate all church prayer chains and prayer events. PRISON MINISTRY: This ministry team visits local prisons, encouraging and witnessing to prisoners. They also minister to families through the Prison Fellowship's Angel Tree program at Christmas. PRODUCTION MINISTRIES DRAMA: Being involved in the drama part of our productions. Production Parking Attendants: Men or women who serve the Lord by directing traffic before and after one of our Musical Productions. PPWC CHOIR: Our choir that helps us worship each week as well as performs during special productions. Shuttle Drivers: Men or women who drive our church shuttle buses either on Sunday Mornings or at Church Productions, transporting members & guests from our off-site parking at the Shoppes at Park Place, to the church. Must have a CDL license. Sunday School Teachers: Men or women who love to teach who serve as teachers or assistant teacher in Sunday School Classes of all ages. USHER: The team that receives the offering, hands out information and assists people where needed. Vacation Bible School Staff & Helpers: People who serve in a variety of positions for a short-term concentrated children’s program usually for a week in the summer. Includes opportunities for teachers, craft people, music people, set & prop builders, refreshment people and a long list of other personnel Vacuumers-Custodian (Volunteer): Men or women who donate 2-10 hours per week to vacuum the church building and other “clean-up” kinds of things to keep our facilities looking good for guests as well as our own church family. VISITATION TEAM: People who visit with our new people. They also visit hospitals, nursing homes, shut-ins. YOUTH STAFF: A team of people that helps with regular activities for Jr. High and Sr. High students. This team helps with food, coordinating socials, welcoming, leading or assisting the youth ministry |
