Global Partners

For six years Brian worked in the engineering field while Wendy worked as a state licensed cosmetologist.  Then God called them into full-time ministry.  They had served nine years in various pastoral ministries when God called them into career missionary service to Russia in 1997.

 

During their first term in Russia, Brian was the director of the Vladimir Wesleyan Bible College and also taught classes.  Wendy home schooled their three children and was involved in various ministries.

 

During their second term, Brian and Wendy served in missions through several North American assignments.  Their main ministries were, as Global Partners’ representatives to Houghton College, mentoring college students and, as directors of Global Visioneering, developing mission’s leadership in the North American Church.  They also maintained ministries and relationships in Russia through short-term trips, such as teaching intensive classes at the Bible college, leading family teams from churches, and leading teams of students from Houghton College.

 

Brian and Wendy are returning to Russia for their third term of service.  Brian will teach full-time in the Bible college and will begin a new ministry mentoring the national pastors who are planting churches.  Wendy will work with and develop various children’s ministries around the ministry center in Vladimir and in orphanages throughout the city.

 

They have three children:  Ashley (86), Brian II (87) and Josiah (89).
