The Gathering
July 2010, will go down in the Chronicles of Park Place as one of its most exciting months...EVER.......Why?...You may say. Well let me tell you!
First of all, two ladies who have worked for years to follow the call on their lives to be pastors were ordained at our District Conference. We celebrate with Reverend Eleanor Ladd and Reverend Sandra Turner. We believe God has MORE great things for them.
The next weekend, July 18th, God helped us slay the Debt Giant. Praise the Lord...after sacrificing for so many years and giving and giving and giving...we still needed $7900.00 in our last offering....God gave us over $15,000.00...WOW....God is SO AWESOME...
Those weekends have been followed by teens coming to know Christ and being baptized at Teen Camp. As I write this article, our children are at Kids Camp and God is moving there...helping our kids get on track early...they are learning to serve Jesus at a young age...Pray for our "kids."
There is so much to praise the Lord about...We will be celebrating all that God has done on a special Sunday, August 1st. We will be taking in new members, taking communion and of course...Burning the Mortgage....Yea! Also, following the service we will have a cookout here on the grounds to celebrate as a family all that our Heavenly Father has done...and still doing in PPWC.
